Add Creators to a List

Since Lists are one of the most prominent creator management features, you can add talents to a list from multiple places. Within the platform, you can import talents from My Creators, a Discover Search, another list, and an Excel upload. You can also import creators to a list while you research on the Instagram webpage by using the Tidal Labs Creator Recruiting Chrome Extension.

Import From My Creators

The My Creators network is your brand-owned creator network. In the My Creators tab, select talents and use the Actions button to add them to a pre-created list. You might use the search filter tool (the magnifying glass icon) to narrow down your search by inputting the talent’s name, email address, or assigned teams and lists.

Import from Discover

When you have completed your research in Discover, simply select the talents and use the Add to List button to import the talents into a pre-created list in the drop-down menu. You can see exactly how long it will take to import the talents. We have an article that shows you how to create a Discover search.

Import from another list

When you identify a talent for a new list while browsing another list, you can select the talent’s profile and use the Actions button to add him or her to the new list.

Import from Excel

Another option is to import users from an Excel sheet into a list within your network.

Once in a list, go to the function menu and select the Import from Excel option. You will be asked to upload an excel file, followed by selecting which columns to import from the excel spreadsheet.

Tips: we recommend that you clean up the excel file before uploading to avoid errors. Because each creator has to have a unique email address, you want to make sure that there is only one email address associated with each creator in your excel file.

Creator Recruiting Chrome Extension

You can add creators to a list directly from Instagram on your web browser by using the Tidal Labs Creator Recruiting Chrome Extension – download it here. We wrote a help article on it to help you set it up.
