Lists of Social Media Metrics We Track

Here are some of metrics we are tracking within the campaign reports:

Activations: The number of creators who participated in campaigns and created a social post.

Social Media Platform: Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter

Social Impressions: The number of times a creator’s content is displayed.

Engagements: The number of interactions content received from users (likes, comments, shares, saves, etc.)

Engagement Pct: Total engagement/total followers. It measures the percentage of people who chose to interact with the content after seeing it.

Reach:
• Verified Reach: Creator’s total following count
• Social Reach: The number of times creator’s content has been seen by their followers.

Cost: This includes the payment received by the influencer, as well as any expenses associated with paid promotions. In cases where a creator is not receiving payment, we assign a cost of $10 for each individual.

EMV (Earned Media Value): A metric used to quantify the value of social media content & the reach of that content. (Tidal’s model blends data from CreatorIQ and Ayzenberg research.) *Our EMV formula is adjustable and customizable. If you prefer to establish your own EMV model, please feel free to let us know.

ROI (Return on investment): EMV/Cost; A metric calculated by dividing the Media Value by the Cost ($10 per active participant). 1.5x ROI means you invested $100 and got $150 value out of it.

CPE (Cost per engagement): The average cost of an engagement based on the cash payout to a creator at the post-level.
